Lahore (Tuesday, February 16, 2016) – Government of Punjab under the leadership of Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has introduced revolutionary initiative for the birth registration of child in Punjab province. Department of Local Government and Community Development Government of Punjab has approved Birth Registration Strategy Punjab and Model By-Laws 2016. According to these laws no surchage or late fee will be charged in the process of registration of children birthday. Detail for apply Computerized Birth Registration Certificate is as follows:-
After birth of child within 60 days secretary union council or employee municipal committee is authorized the approval and issuance of birth certificate. After 60 and before 7 years Chairman / Administrator municipal committee / union council is authorized for the approval and issuance of birth certificate. grievances. These are judiciary set ups by the government to protect the consumer rights. Its main function is to maintain the fair practices by the sellers towards consumers Now these consumer court has been set ups in Punjab province of Pakistan
Disputes deal by consumer court?
Following disputes and grievances taken in front of consumer court :-
1. substandard and expired products.
2. On packing of products if there is not mention the ingredients, date of production and last date of use.
3. On business place rate list is not available.
4. No receipt or invoice, and not mentioned date, item detail, quantity, price and name & address of shopkeeper.
5. Non availability of paid policy return of product and paid amount
6. sale of product and provision of services using false and misleading advertisement.
7. Unsatisfactory services by any government and firm or institutions.

Islamabad (Tuesday, February 23, 2016) – Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and harmony has told that this year of 1437 AH total one lakh, forty thousands, three hundreds and sixty eight (143368)Pakistani Hujjaj will perform Hajj. This quota is equal to the previous year 1436 AH / 2015 AD.
Federal Minister Sardar Muhammad Yousuf also told that improved facilities will be provided to the Pakistan Hujjaj this year. Hajj Application 2016 will be invited few month after

Green Parliament Solar Power Project
Islamabad (Tuesday, February 23, 2016) – Prime Minister of Pakistan has inaugurated the first Green parliament Solar Power Project of the World. This the Parliament of Pakistan has become first Parliament on the world after completion of this project.
This will produce 1 Mega Watt (1MW). The electricity will be provided to National Assembly and Senate of Pakistan.3940 solar panel has been installed. Solar panels has been installed on the roof of Parliament and Parking Area.
At the occasion of inauguration ambassador of China, Speaker National Assembly Ayaz sadiq and Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani were also present.

Islamabad (Tuesday, February 23, 2016) – Today Higher Education Commission (HEC) has issued the ranking of public and private sector universities of the Pakistan. This report of ranking re being released every year. According to latest ranking Quaid e Azam University (QAU) Islamabad has top the all universities of the Pakistan. University of Punjab has places to second position and National University of Science and technology (NUST) has obtained third position in General Category.

Pakistan Health Cards Distribution Started in Muzaffarabad Azad Kashmir
Muzaffarabad AJK (Thursday, February 25, 2016) – Government of Pakistan, federal Ministry of Health has started the revolutionary programme of general public / poor peoples free health scheme. This Health Insurance Card scheme was lunched from Islamabad district in the end of 2015. In Islamabad this health card has been distributed in 25000 poor families.
Now it is being launched in Azad Jammu ad Kashmir capital of Muzaffarabad District. 82000 poor families will be facilitated from this scheme in Muzaffar Abad District.

Islamabad (APP / Tuesday, March 8, 2016) – Government Hajj Scheme will be more costly than the previous year 2015. Now Rs.22675 will be added in net amount of Hajj. In Last year Southern Region paid Rs. 255971 and Northern region paid Rs. 264971 per Haji. While it is proposed that in current year each Hujjaj will pay Rs. 278646 and Rs. 287646 by southern and northern region respectively.

Subject: Amanat Scheme for Restaurant Customers (ASRC) under Rule 14 of the Punjab Restaurant Invoice Monitoring System Rules, 2015
In supersession of the Circular of even number dated 08.03.2016, it is stated that a scheme by the name of the “Amanat Scheme” providing for valuable gifts/prizes for restaurant customers (hereinafter called “ASRC”) has been established by the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) in terms of Rule 14 of the Punjab Restaurant Invoice Monitoring System (RIMS) Rules, 2015. By participating in ASRC, all participants shall be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by the following terms and conditions for the said Amanat Scheme:
1. The ASRC is open to a restaurant customer who has consumed or availed taxable services of any restaurant operating under RIMS coverage worth more than one thousand rupees (excluding tax) at a time; has provided his name, CNIC and phone number to the restaurant for printing on the invoice issued to him or has communicated the particulars of invoice on the given short code number through SMS or has sent image of the invoice to the given number of the Authority through WhatsApp Messenger.

Lahore (Monday, April 11, 2016) – Yesterday Chief Minister of Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif announced the lucky winner of first ever balloting result of the Restaurants Taxpayers. This is part of RIMS, the Resurgent Invoice management System. All two lac customers joined this system in last couple of months. This balloting will be held every month regularly. 300 names of successful winner names were announced.

PRA must focus on increasing tax net gradually and decreasing tax rates accordingly… Also collection of property tax is very important huge collection potential is there because large-scale urbanization has done in Punjab cities and respective development authorities like LDA,RDA etc and other responsible depts haven’t account this urbanization due to this technical fault these areas are out of property tax net…New surveys required to incorporate these developments this will lead to revenue increase for Govt of Punjab….
