On Chairman slot four candidates were in run. Enginner javiad Salee Qureshi win by securing 7779 votes. While Engineer Syed Abdul Qadir Shar (Brother of Opposition Leader in National Assembly Mr. Khurshed Shah) stood at second position. Engineer uhammad najeeb Haroon at Third Position by securing 2567 votes. and Engineer uhammaf Khalid Bashir at fourth position with only 279 votes.

PRIZE BONDS

Prize Bonds are bearer type of security available in the denominations of Rs.100, Rs.200, Rs.750, Rs.1,500, Rs.7,500, Rs.15,000, Rs.25,000 and Rs.40,000. These bonds are issued in series. Each series consist of one less than 1,000,000 bonds. No fixed return is paid but prize draws are held on quarterly basis. The draws are held under common draw method and the number of prizes are same for each series. It means that if 50 series of Rs.200 Prize Bond are in circulation. Then on each draw we have 50 winners of 1st prize and 250 winners of 2nd Prize and so on. The number and amount of prizes on various denomination of prize bonds for each series is shown in the following table:-

 Makkah Near (Bait ul Allah) Crane Accident 70 Haji Died

Accident took place due to high speed wind, rain and “Yala Bari”. At least 65 people were killed and 154 injured when a crane crashed into Masjid al Haram in Makkah on Friday, September 11, 2015. Following are pics taken on this occasion. Some details were immediately available but pictures circulating on social media showed bloodied bodies strewn across part of the mosque where the crane was seen having crashed into the ceiling. It was raining heavily at the time.

Islamabad / Makka Saudia Arabia (Sunday, Sept 13, 2015) – Foreign Office today released a list of six Pakistanis who embraced martyrdom during Friday’s deadly crane crash in Grand Mosque of Macca Moazzama..

According to a spokesman of the Foreign Office, 11 Pakistanis have died from the crash. Earlier, Al Arabiya reported that 15 Pakistanis were among the 107 victims of the crash.

Nawaz Sharif Inaugurates Attabad Lake Tunnels and Bridges in Gilgit Baltistan

Gojal (Monday, September 14, 2015) – Today Prime Minister of Pakistan has inaugurated 24 kilometers long Pak-China Economic Corridor at Attabad Lake . This part of Karakorum Highway (Shahrah e Raisham). In 2010 Attabad Lake was occurred due to flood in the river and blockage of water due to landsliding.

5 tunnels are part of a 24-kilometer long portion of the reconstructed Karakorum Highway.  Two big bridges and 78 small bridges have also been constructed.

Governor Gligit Baltistan and Chief Minister GB Hafiz Hafeez ul Rehman were also present at occasion.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif National Health Insurance Programme Phase-I – Applications Required

ATTENTION :- All Public, Private & Military Hospitals / Health Facilities
PRIME MINISTER NATIONAL REALM INSURANCE PROGRAMME
The Government of Pakistan is committed to the principles of “Universal Health Coverage” and approaching the goal through an envisaged health insurance scheme. On the Directive of the Honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan, Ministry of National Health Services, Regulation & Coordination is in the process of launching the first phase of a revolutionary Health Insurance Initiative with the title of “Prime Minister’s National Health Insurance Programme”. The program will cover expenditures of indoor hospitalization.

In the first phase the program would be launched in 23 districts in Pakistan including :-

Balochistan = Quetta. Loralai, Lasbela, Kech.

KPK = Mardan, Malakand, Kohat, Chitral,

Punjab = Narowal, Khanewal, Sargodha, Rahim Yar Khan,

Sindh = Shikarpur, Badin, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar,

Azad Kashmir (AJK) = Muzaffarabad, Kotli,

FATA = Bajaur Agency, Khyber Agency,

Gilgit Baltistan = Diamer, Skardu and

ICT Islamabad.

All public, private and military health care facilities / hospitals in above districts covered during first phase and other metropolitan cities interested in the empanelment process and providing secondary or tertiary care services to program beneficiaries may download the “Hospital Empanelment Criteria- and “Diseases Coverage” from the Ministry’s Website www.nhsrc.gov.pk and submit their expression of interest along with list of their in-house available services to the below mentioned address for information and registration.

Lahore (News Update / Breaking News / Saturday, September 19, 2015) – According to Press Report of Pakistan Meteorological Department, Thunderstorm/rain with heavy to very heavy falls at scattered places is expected over the lower catchments (Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Rawalpindi divisions) & upper catchments of rivers Sutlej, Ravi, Chenab and Jhelum from 20th to 24th September, 2015.

Very High Flood Expected in River Chenab and Jhelum

Very High Flood situation is expected in rivers Chenab and Jhelum from 21st to 25th September, 2015. Very High Flood situation is also expected in the Nullahs of rivers Ravi and Chenab along with Hill Torrents of DG Khan division during the same period. Heavy rains in Kashmir will increase the melting process resulting in land slides.

Keeping in view the Monsoon dynamics and abrupt changes in the intensity of rainfall resulting in change in the scale of flood, an update will be issued accordingly.

River Chenab and Jhelum Flood Update 23/09/2015 (Wednesday, September 23, 2015)

Lahore (Tuesday, September 22, 2015) – Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued flood Forecast for next 24 hours in Follwing Rivers of Punjab Province:-

According to report in next 24 hours, The River Chenab and River Jhelum can attain the following level of flood at Mangla and Marala Head Works. At Mangla Dam river Jhelum will reached 2,30,000 Cusec of Water Quantity, While at Marala Head Works the River Chenab can reach at water quantity at 2,25,000 Cusec.

Jhelum at Mangla = Two lac and twenty five thousand Cusec Water

Chenab at Marala  = Two lac and thirty thousand Cusec of Water

River Jhelum and Chenab will flow at normal level/condition at Rasul Head Works, Kahnki barrage, Qadir Abad head Works Trimmu Head Works and Panjnad Head Works.

Mina Stampede During Hajj 1436 AH – 310 People Killed 450 Wounded

Mecca Moazamah (Thursday, September 24 / 10th Zill Hajj 1436 AH) – Today there was Eid – ul Azha in Saudi Arabia. Yesterday Kujjaj e Kiram offered Hajj at the Arafaat Maydaan. Today there were busy in perform an important organ of Hajj , The Rami. They were  throwing stone at “Shaitaan”, When a stampede occurred at Street No. 204. Maktab No.93

Almost 310 Hujjaj martyred and 450 received injuries and admitted in Mina Hospital for health care. According to news reports 7 Pakistani are in the list of killed peoples. In is expected there may be AlJazair  nationals.
